How To Play Tracks From Your Music Library

Post by Forum Admin »

iGigBook allows you to select tracks from your music library to play while viewing a chart from the Gig Set view. Pressing the new play icon will search your music player library for titles that match the song title of the chart you are viewing.

The search uses the title of the set list item which can be changed to whatever you like in the Set List Manager, which gives you more control over what is being searched for. The screen shot below shows the results of changing the name of a set list item to "You" from "Donna Lee" resulting in music player search results containing the word "You" in the song title. Beginning with iGigBook 10.1 you can place your search term in a pair of brackets, []. Using the above example, the name of the set list item would be "Donna Lee [You]"

Once you select a track from the list of tracks, play back begins, to stop play back, press the play icon again. To pause the track you must use the music player app since there is no functionality included in iGigBook to pause the track.

This feature is available from any view and there are settings that allow you to repeat the track and automatically play the track when the chart is displayed.
