I’ve recently downloaded the iGigBook app. But it’s asking me to add the strealbk pdf to my iPad as igigbook does not provide pdf content. I don’t understand.
Is that another app? I’ve tried to search for it to no avail.

Add the PDF, means add the PDF because iGigBook doesn't provide you with free sheet music.
