Composer dropdown in Manage Song titles

I am building a new index for a custom pdf. The basic instructions for how to add an index are working fine (thanks). But when I click on the composer dropdown it does not move, just fixed in place. Can I add composers to a custom index?

You have to add composers first by selecting "Composers" from the menu to build your list of composers. With no list of composers there will be no list of composers to choose from. Additionally, the field to the left of the drop down is where you can type in a composer and that composer will be added to your list of composers once the song is added.
