Can’t Download Free PDFs

I have an iPad Pro and I just purchased iGigBook yesterday. I’m following the directions from September 2020 but I cannot download the three free PDFs. I get to the password-protected message but no + sign. There is nothing else on the screen except the password protected message. I’m also trying to figure out if I’ve already downloaded it several times and it’s sitting somewhere on my iPad.
