Is there a way to copy and paste a note within a score?

When you add a note the next note you add usually has the same characteristics as the one you added previously. Describe what you would like to do in detail.

I'd like to be able to duplicate the text of the note as well - so I don't have to retype it into a new note.

If I were you, I would use the copy and paste features already present in a text field. Highlight the text, copy and then paste it where paste is allowed.
