francominissi wrote: Thu May 15, 2025 1:56 pm here you have my book list as requested.
there is also the song search with the "orphaned" message, and my files where you can see all my books appear now suddenly as unindexed (and i can't link them to the indexes as none is available)

(thanks for the patience ... I'm sure it's just something stupid i don't get or I did wrong)
Interesting screen shots, we've never seen a Book List View that displays as icons with no thumbnails...

If you go to the Settings App and select General, what is the "Capacity" and what is "Available"?

OK then, I'll wait for IOS 17.7.8, or try to get back to a previous IOS.
Thanks a lot

In that discussion I linked to, it seems you can roll back to 17.7.6.

I'm having the same issue. I open iGig on my iPad get "connection error" then sync from the upper left and books appear and are indexed.
I uninstalled the app and the realbooks are on the iPad in the iGig folder. Can't seem to get the indecies to stay sync'ed I have to re-sycn everytime i open the app. how would I start from the beginnig using a new laptop which does not have iTuneas on it.

I update to the new iOS and ALL IS WORKING FINE!

If you're having the same issue, why haven't you updated your device to iPadOS 17.7.8?
