How To Share Set Lists Using Device To Device Transfer

Device to device file transfer allows you to send a set list and all PDF content it references to another iPadOS device.

Open the Setting App, what you use to turn WiFi on and off with, to enable Wifi.

Scroll down to iGigBook 10, the last option on the right titled, "DIRECT FILE TRANSFER SETTINGS" allows you to establish your device as the file source. Enable "File Source" when you want to send your set list to another device that you own or that of another musician. If you are receiving files, make sure that the option, "File Source" is disabled.

To send files using this method, you must have purchased the "Additional Features Pack". You can receive files using this method without purchasing the "Additional Features Pack".

Selecting A Copy Mode On The Destination Device

Mode 1: Only copy files that do not exist on the destination device. "REPLACE" and "BACKUP" switches disabled.

Mode 2: Copy files whether they exist or not on the destination device and overwrite if the file exists. "REPLACE" switch enabled

Mode 3: Copy files whether they exist or not on the destination device and overwrite if the file exists and create a backup. "REPLACE" and "BACKUP" switches enabled. You should check storage space available prior to receiving files with this mode.

Sharing Your Set List With Another Device

New Set List Export option "Send To Device" - Option only appears when both source and destination device are connected.
To start a device to device transfer navigate to the My Scores View and select the peer to peer icon, the third icon from the top left.

1. Establish connection between the source and destination device by pressing "START" on both devices.

2. On the source device navigate to Gig Set View, select the icon that looks like a tray with an up arrow, select "Send To Device" from the Set List Export menu. Once you select "Send To Device", the My Scores View opens and the file transfer begins.
