Paging pdf

I have uploaded a pdf and it is present in MyScores view. I can find (call up the pdf) and see the first page as well as a status indicator that says (1 of 5). I cannot page forward so I am only able to see page 1. If I turn my ipad to landscape mode I can see both page 1 and 2. The pdf does contain 5 pages and all 5 pages can be viewed successfully outside of igibook. Do stand alone pdfs require an index ? or is there something I'm missing in the upload process ?
