I’ve successfully made the offsets for my books. However, doing this in conjunction with book search offsets the wrong book.
Reproduce:
1. Perform a SEARCH for the indexed book you want to update (which causes the other books to disappear from view).
2. Long press the book and update the offset.
3. Get rid of the search string, and manually find the same book. The offset will not be modified, but another book somewhere will be (unsure on the logic to see which book was updated).
This may be tied to my other post on the search box sometimes disappearing.

Use the four finger tap method to set your offset: viewtopic.php?t=8
