cannot delete note

I have the same problem that someone had previously posted.
I was trying to move a note, and inadvertently the note became a single horizontal line. I try to tap on the note (the little circle), but the dialog box that would ordinarily allow me to delete the note does not appear. I keep trying to tap anywhere on the note (the line or the circle), but the dialog box never comes up. Note that I am in edit mode. I am able to create new notes, but I not a le to modify or delete the single line note. It appears that the note dimensions may be too small to be able to tap/expose the dialog box?

Below is the response from Phil that I saw to the other (locked) thread. Note that there is no way to bring up the dialog that allows me to alter the properties. I am in edit mode. Please, is there any way to delete this note or perhaps to delete all notes on a page?

You can use the dialog to size the note as well. If your note is a single line, and I'm not sure why you would do such a thing, going into edit mode and tapping on it should bring up the dialog that allows you to alter its properties.

Try double tapping on the note, not the grey circle, while in edit mode. It may take a couple of tries, but it will bring up the dialog so that you can alter the dimensions.

Moving a note does not cause the size to change.

Thanks for the reply Phil.
I was trying to move the note, but apparently grabbed an edge, and that is how I ended up with a single line note.
I was not able to(tap or double tap) to get the dialog to come up.
I gave up and went into the file system, blew away the file and reinstalled.
