How to create index of songs for piano bar song list.

Post by aaronbrownsound »

Hey Phil,

I'm planning on taking a bunch of these tunes, making a Set List, and exporting it all as a PDF for reference.

Is there a way to export both song name AND author name? When I export PDFs currently they only have song titles. If it could export both in some excel friendly format (Tab delimited, etc.) it would be best! That way I could import all the songs into a big excel sheet for proper song list formatting :)

Are there any other ways you could think of effectively building a song set list for listeners to pick from using your app?

You can achieve what you are trying to do with the existing capabilities of the app, though it's going to require work on your part. If you've bulk uploaded many indexes, you should have a large enough body of data to create the index that you want. Personally, I would just use the search feature of the app, which is what many musicians I know do when working a piano bar.
