I would find the ability to control the brightness of the screen from within iGigbook useful. Goodreader has this feature which is very handy - just an adjustable slider for screen brightness. I find that sometimes, once my eyes get adjusted, I would actually like the screen a bit less bright than I would for reading a book or magazine text. Thanks for considering this request.

Re: Feature request - Brightness control from within the App
The settings app is far more useful and easy to get to, if you have it running you can switch to it with a multi-finger swipe. iGigBook used to have this feature when iOS didn't multitask, now that it does, i.e. you can jump to another app and back to the original app, there's really no need to duplicate this functionality. Lastly, there was also the issue of not being able to tap into the native screen dimmer of the device.

Is this something on the app store that is called "the settings app" or am I missing some functionality of iOS?

There is something on the device called the "Settings App" it has an icon that looks like a gear and is part of iOS, this is where you set wireless on off, etc.rpmseattle wrote:Is this something on the app store that is called "the settings app" or am I missing some functionality of iOS?

Re: Feature request - Brightness control from within the App
That's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't understanding about multitasking gestures. I have always switched between apps by double clicking the home button and and clicking the second app from the recently used apps (which isn't as fast as it would be from within the app). I see now that there is actually a Multitasking Gestures option which I've never turned on. I just gave it a try, and it is a good deal faster than using the home button. Thanks for the tip.
