The Standards Real Book index issues

Hi,
I've read the subjects concerning this on other forums and still cannot get my pdfs to index with the app. I even tried moving the pages around to match the igigbook index. As you may or may not know, the pdfs are not the same as the index in the the igigbook. For instance, (Our) Love Is Here To Stay is listed under the L section in the Standards Real Book. It is listed under the O section in the igigbook index. Please help me to use my book without putting it into the "My Scores" tab.

If you go to the song "Again" in the PDF that you have of "The Standards Real Book" you will see in the upper left hand corner the page number 3, if you go to the next page, you will probably see the song "Aqua De Beber" and the page number in the upper left hand corner is 5. If this is what you are seeing, you are missing page 4, which is a photograph. You can confirm this by going to the table of contents of the PDF you have and to see the photograph that's missing you need the physical book since it doesn't seem this is a PDF you have scanned yourself. Add the pages that are missing and the index will work correctly. Currently the PDF you have is missing many pages.

The index for realbk1h does not sync with my pdf. I suspect it's because when the individual songs were compiled into a single pdf, the order of the files was numerical (as designated by the publisher) and not alphabetical by song title.

Do I need to create a pdf which orders the songs in the order shown in the realbk1h index? How can I tell how many total pages the realbk1h index is expecting?

Conversely could one create a custom index that accesses songs not in alphabetical order, taking advantage of the song order supplied by the publisher?

The Hal Leonard Real Book 6th Edition has an index, the index that iGigBook provides matches that index. If you have a PDF of the Hal Leonard Real Book 6th Edition and you didn't scan and assemble the PDF yourself, you will need to check it to make sure that the songs are in the order that they appear in the index on the pages specified.

Today I edited my standards real book PDF, and sure enough it was missing many pages of photographs. I inserted blank pages where they should be and it now works correctly. Also had several pages out of order. Took about an hour and it was a pain but it works now. The index is correct.

It depends on what tool you are using. With Adobe Acrobat, the full version, you have to:

Extract the page that's in the wrong place.
Insert it where you want it to go in the original, meaning you now have two of those pages.
Delete the page that you extracted from the original that was in the wrong place.
