Backing Up My Books

Post by Guitar Sam »

Help! Apple is going to give me a new iPad since the audio jack isn't working properly. I've spent hours downloading 49 indexed scores, not to mention all the un-indexed scores I've either downloaded or scanned in by hand. I realize the igigbook server saves the indexes I but does the igigbook server save the actual books i have and would I be able to retrieve them on a new ipad? Can I email my indexed and un-unindexed scores to myself? I have iCloud backing up my igigbook, nearly 4 gigs worth so I assume that is all my scores, but I'm a little nervous here. Anyone have experience in this area?

You should always have a separate back up of the iGigBook Documents folder which will have your PDF files, notes, sets, etc. This is a link to the the How To for adding content to your device.

In the windows that list the files in the iGigBook Documents folder you just need to select all of the items and then select the "Save To" button and pick a folder on your computer.
