Pages don't line up

Only the C versions of the Real Book works. The pages in the Bb and Eb versions don't line up. Instructions are given to "fix" this. Why don't the authors fix this? Why should I pay $15 for this product, when I have to then put 50 or 60 hours to fix this problem?

The pages don't line up because the pages are probably in the wrong order or missing or both. If you download a PDF from the internet, it is always good practice to make sure that the PDF is what it says that it is, not doing so doesn't really make sense. You need to check that it has all of the pages and the pages are in the correct order, there's no getting around this.
