Can't get out of search page

I just purchased iGigBook for my android device
When I open it all I can access is the search page. I don't see any icons to tap to get me to another page. I tapped all over my screen to get another
screen (like the book index) and nothing happens. i tried tapping on the little square "iGigBook icon on the top left of the screen and nothing happens.
Any advice would be appreciated
