Let's say that I have the following book ...
The Digital Standards Book - Bb Version (dssongbook_bb.pdf)
I have hooked up this book with the provided index for The Digital Standards Book - C Version (dssongbook.pdf)
Everything works great except that the songs are not appended with "Bb" after each song showing the correct key.
What is the easiest way to alter the "C Version Index" into a "Bb Version Index" or to create a separate index with the "Bb" that's based on the "C" book so I don't have to create a whole new index from scratch?
Again, all that is needed is to appended "Bb" after each song title.

Re: Converting Concert C Book Index to Bb Book Index
There isn't a way to do this unless you create your own index with the titles having Bb appended to them. If you add any of these songs to a set you can change the name of the item and append a Bb to it. If you know the book is in Bb and you don't have a C version you can just use it with the index as you are doing. You can also purchase the C version or make a copy of your Bb version and use the Single Index System mentioned to you in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2110 if the Bb append to the song title is a must have for you.Stuberg wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 11:45 amLet's say that I have the following book ...

Re: Converting Concert C Book Index to Bb Book Index
I think I'd like to figure out how to copy your index ...
dssongbook.pdf
And from that index create a new one for the Bb Version that could be shared with all of your users. It would be this ...
dssongbook_bb.pdf
I'm missing how to do this in that old thread. Where is a link that gives me a step-by-step process to do this ... and if I do this and it's correct ... can it be put on the indexes online so that everyone can use it if desired?
Since the books appear to be identical as far as their index, all that is needed is for me to append the Bb like you've done in the other Bb indexes.
Again, I'd like to try to create this (or find someone else to create this) so it can be offered to your other customers. Also, I have some students that I want to convert from paper to your app because they already have iPads.

Re: Converting Concert C Book Index to Bb Book Index
Thanks Phil.
Do you have any plans to add the Bb version of the book to your available indexes?

We do not provide indexes for books where the Bb, C, Eb, and bass clef versions are the same.
