Hello folks.
Where can I get the Hal Leonard real book volume two pdf? They sell the book with a flash drive but that drive only includes tracks, not a pdf.
I really don’t want to remove the binding and have to scan hundreds of pages.
Is there a place this can be downloaded?
Thanks in advance.

Contact Hal Leonard, they should be able to help you with that.

I did some research. That have a cloud-based library that you get access to if you buy some of their products. But that requires using their software (and having internet access), both of which are deal breakers. Obviously, I want to use iGigBook. And I may be outdoors or in a basement with no Internet access.Phil Smith wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 2:12 pmContact Hal Leonard, they should be able to help you with that.
They do have a book with a CD-ROM:

But one commentator posted:
So unfortunately, being forced to use proprietary readers kills the goal here. The main interface is an html interface so you can view every song from inside your web browser from a menu.
The actual songs are stored in pdf format but have cryptic filenames so you have to use the html interface to access the songs.
If anyone else has suggestions about where an iGigBook-friendly full PDF of this work can be obtained, I appreciate the assistance!

Oho, now check that out! Spiffy! I'm going to check this out!
Re: Real book volume 2: where to get pdf?
So the cd finally arrived in the mail and I have it’s content in Dropbox ready to load.
But when export this index file To iGigBook Pro,
https://my.igigbook.com/sets/Set_Real_B ... _CD.igbset
The app immediately crashes. I have tried it about 15 times.
I’m not sure how to proceed.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry I should have provided that detail.
iPad 13.6.1
IGigBook appears to be latest I see in the store 7.1.1 since no update is available. Not sure where in the app itself to discover that.
Thanks in advance!

If you select the Files app, press and hold the file name and select share from the menu, iGigBook will be one of the choices. Selecting that does cause the app to exit but the set is added which can be viewed in the Set List Manager.

Aha okay thanks.Phil Smith wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:47 amIf you select the Files app, press and hold the file name and select share from the menu, iGigBook will be one of the choices. Selecting that does cause the app to exit but the set is added which can be viewed in the Set List Manager.
I assumed that since it crashed that it hadn’t succeeded. It seems the set list was imported all along.
The problem I have now is forming the pdf. I have screen shots but this portal says they’re too large to attach.
When I go to share and include songs as pdf attachment, only the set list is attached. And that’s probably because the song PDFs are not linked to the set list because they aren’t imported. The steps say to copy the pdf files to the device but it never says to add them into the app. I guess I have to do that?
My concern there is that then I’m going to have to remove each of the 400 song PDFs one at a time when this is over. Is there a way around that?
Thanks in advance.
