Navigating multi-page pdfs in iGigBook - Android

How do I turn pages in the Android version of IGigBook?
I am looking a work that has nine pages and am unable to move off page 1.
As a related matter, how do I create a new index to place PDFs I already have on my tablet?

Select the first Item in the Book List View titled "Tap Here For Help" then select "01. How to navigate while viewing a PDF page".
