crealbk1_bb.pdf cannot be read

Is anyone having a problem with crealbk1_bb.pdf ? I cannot use it as an indexed score, nor can it be read as an unindexed score. You can page through it but nearly all of the pages are empty. The PDF is otherwise good since other PDF readers can read it fine. I tried reinstalling iGigbook thinking that might rebuild the built-in indexes but the problem persists. crealbk1_eb.pdf works good and can be used for the transposition feature. Thanks!

If you're experiencing seeing blank pages it usually means that the PDF is of a size or version that the built in functionality of iOS or Android that we are using is unable to render it as pages. Uninstalling the app will not correct that. It has nothing to do with indexing. There's no standard "crealbk1_bb.pdf ", the name is used to facilitate the singe index system and any PDF or other file can be named as such. Your best bet is to find another copy of Real Book 5th Edition Bb.

You can try using the PDF Editor in iGigBook to create another copy of your PDF, by pressing and holding crealbk1_bb.pdf and selecting "Edit".

I have had igigbook for quite some time and often I get to sit down and try to make it work. My latest attempt has failed again. I am trying to index the new real books 1, 2, and 3 which I received from a band mate. It works on his ipad, but the indexing is totally unreliable on my android tablet. Like a tune is linked to page 273 after page 6 alphbetically. It really is so obtuse. I also want to know if the Bob Book works on Android as it appears that it doesn't on your forum. I would be happy with that one single book.

I also tried to create my own books in "my books" to test the functionality. Of course, it provided nothing useful, so I want to delete them but as many times as I have check "delete', they continue to appear. Why can't they be deleted?

I believe you need to delete the individual songs within the book before you can delete the book.

We have indexes for New Real Book 1, 2 and 3. We have checked our indexes against the actual physical book. If our index isn't working with your PDF, your PDF is more than likely missing pages. Your best course of action is to add the missing pages back to the PDF or purchase the PDF from Sher Publishing.
