New iPad, stuff missing

Post by devnulljp »

Hi all, bought a new iPad, transferred everything from old one to new one.
My indexes are all messed up now (search for a song, it pulls up the wrong one), and the transposable charts like iRealPro are missing.
How do I get them back and fix the broken indexes?
I tried adding index offsets but it's not reliable.
Do I need to reinstall all my pdfs? Any tips for migrating ?

No, I don't have a Mac (so no ITunes), and ipads haven't had a home key in a few generations either.
I did the put the two ipads side by side and let things transfer over method.

Either way though, there are things missing. Notably, the transposable charts that look like ireal pro charts. How do I get those back?

Without a Mac, I believe one still uses iTunes to transfer data between an iOS device and a Windows device. Sure some iPads don't have a home key, but they have an equivalent method of accessing the app tray, swiping up from the bottom of the screen, so that you can swipe apps up.

Any method you use to copy files over, you are responsible for verifying that everything has been copied over. When you say "there are things missing", that's vague language that we can't act on. For the specific things you did mention that are missing, the transposable chord charts, all you need to do is log in, sync and select any item from one of those indexes.

Thanks, but I don't have a Windows machine either. Linux. So, looking for a cloud-based way to do this.
I logged in and synced, and the transposable charts seem to be back, thanks.
