iGigBook Version 9.3 For iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Pro

Post by SiteAdmin »

Transpose Book Feature is now available! Currently this feature only works with one PDF, a version of "The New Bob Book" that you can transpose any one of the over 650 songs. There's a bass clef version in the works, stay tuned for details.

What devices does it work with? iPads running iGigBook version 9 or greater. Will not work with iPhones or Android tablets.

How do you get it? Check the Latest News section in the Content Manager for specific instructions on how to obtain the "New Bob Book - Transpose" index and the PDF that matches this index.

Is the Transpose Book Feature free? No, the feature costs $19.99 and only you can determine if it's worth it to you.

How do I buy the Transpose Book Feature? At the top of the Book List there are 3 thumbnails. The 3 items you see below? They aren't steps to take. They are the order of the thumbnails on the top row of the Book List View.
  1. Tap Here For Help.
  2. Purchase Drawing + PDF Edit Feature.
  3. Purchase Transpose Book Feature.

Bug fixes and improvements:
Added ability to move contents below a separator in the Set List Manager. When you move a separator up in the set list and then release it at the new position you will be prompted if you would like to copy the items below the separator. This is a great way to move blocks of set list items around in a set.

Added option to request access to the "New Bob Book - Transpose" index to the tool menu.
iGigBook - It's what the pros use.
Now Available For Android Tablets!

I am trying to install IGB for a friend. I registered the Name & Password but the Igigbook.com site will not accept the login credentials. Why?

Recently installed new Bob book transpose feature. Terrific asset for vocal accompanists! Great choice of tunes, clear calligraph, good chord choices. I’m a piano player, so melodic range is not so much an issue for me, but I would love to see the ability to retain the transposed key for future invocations of the chart. Thanks.

You can retain that key by adding it to a set list. For example, say there are two singers, Betty and Sarah. You create a set list for each. Using "Autumn in New York" as an example, Betty prefers the key of Fmin and Sarah prefers the key of Cmin. You bring up "Autumn in New York" , transpose it to Fmin and add it to Betty's set list and then you transpose it to Cmin and add it to Sarah's set list. The set list will display the song in the key that you transposed it to.
