Version 2.51 of iGigBook introduces support for the iRig BlueBoard. You will need an iPad or Android tablet that supports Bluetooth Low Energy-BLE. You do not need to use the companion app to use the pedal with iGigBook. iGigBook communicates directly with the pedal in the same way that IK Multimedia's app does. Do not try to pair the pedal with your tablet, that will not work. Just turn bluetooth on and turn on the pedal, iGigBook will detect and communicate with the pedal if you're viewing a PDF page, the flashing blue light at the top right of the pedal will become a steady blue light indicating that a connection has been made and the pedal is ready for action.

Switch C - Previous Song

Switch D - Next Song

Page turning or song skipping is available whenever you are viewing a PDF document.



Changing the Blueboard ID

1. Set Blueboard ID to “iRig BlueBoard” in iGigBook settings.
2. Turn on the Blueboard, launch iGigBook and view a PDF page
3. With the Blueboard connected (steady blue indicator) press the home key, open the settings app and change the Blueboard ID in iGigBook settings
4. Press the home key, select iGigBook to return to the PDF page you were viewing.
5. Hold down Switch A and press Switch C, you should receive a notification that the name has been changed.

The iRig Blue board does not work with an iPad 2. IK Multi Media makes a point of this on their website and all of the materials about the device. The iPad 2 does not posses the necessary hardware to communicate with the blue board.

Thank you for your reply after more reading I found that info . It is harder to find the airturn in Australia than the blueboard which is in stock at the local music shop.
