igigbook mobile on original iphone

Is igigbook mobile compatible with the original iphone? I'm waiting for my ipad2 on order. Would it do me much good to try this app on my iphone in advance of my ipad for learning it etc? Can you do the same things with it? Or would it be a waste of 10 bucks?

I plan to use igigbook on my ipad2 for reading cheat sheet pdf's at gigs when it does arrive.

I don't think iGigBook Mobile will work with the original iPhone because of the firmware version that the phone has, you probably wouldn't be able to purchase from that phone.

As for it being a waste of 10 bucks, think of all the things that you spend $10 on, how many of them can help you make money on a gig by having quick portable access to your musical library?

Oh, I'll be getting it for the ipad2 for sure. And 10 bucks is quite reasonable. I just want to get going with it asap. I guess the iphone I have won't be of any help. And...I'll just have wait. Thanks Phil.
