Two bookmarks allowed per page

Bookmarking is a quick way of indexing non-indexed books you might have loaded in iGigBook. Once you have made a bookmark, these songs will appear as options when you do a Song search. Neat!

However, there are two features of how this currently works which I think are not so good:

1: It is not possible to bookmark the same page twice with different song titles. So, if you have more than one song per page, you are in trouble.

2: When you have made a bookmark and do a Song search, the results do not appear in alphabetical order. Instead, all index results are displayed followed by all bookmark results. This is not made clear and results in confusion.

You are correct you cannot create two or more bookmarks for the same page, if you need that capability you can create an index which will allow you to do that.

The first set of results are for matches of the file names which are in alphabetical order followed by a list of bookmarks that match the search also in alphabetical order. The bookmarks have the name of the PDF that they are contained in parenthesis after the bookmark name. If you have an idea about how those results could be displayed that we be more helpful, we would love to hear it.

Making an index for a new book is a major undertaking. I have done it.

Is it technically impossible with your chosen architecture to have two bookmarks on the same page? Like having two bookmarks in a book or two sticky notes?

Regarding how to display the hits. Why not just display them merged together in alphabetical order? All with sources? I don't think the user cares whether they are hits from indices or from bookmarks?
