Landscape mode - Implemented!

iGigbook is the best music pdf reader for iPad I've found until now but:
I would rather perform without my reading glasses.
Landscape view over 50% of the page, like in eg. ForScore, would make it perfect.
Actually it is essential.
Hoping for it soon.

Phil, I too can really use a landscape view, many songs are 3 or 4 staves deep, and hard to read without glasses. Zoom only adds maybe 5%, but landscape makes it easy. I don't know how any others would appreciate the option, but it sure would make this 100% better in my opinion (and I already LOVE the app, it has paid for itself many times over.)

I noticed an earlier wish list discussion where you said there wasn't much demand for a landscape display. I'm very surprised that other people don't want this. I often wish I could rotate to landscape. For example:

• Many hard-to-read scanned pages are much easier to read in landscape mode. With a physically longer line, you get larger notation without left/right panning.
• Depending on where I'm using my iPad, horizontal orientation is sometimes physically more convenient.
• Some other apps are convenient in landscape; if switching back and forth between them and iGigBook, it would be nice if iGigBook conformed. For example, with iRealb I frequently use the landscape view.

And anyway, it's kinda "the iPad way" right? This is not a huge problem/drawback, but it seems surprising that such a well-designed app omits this UI element that is so widespread in iPad usage.

i like the app but i really miss the rotate/landscape option and the posibility to display 2 sheets on the same page

You can display two pages at a time when you connect your device to an external monitor. When we do landscape mode, there won't be an option for two pages up since the prime reason people want landscape mode is so the page can be bigger not smaller.

Hi, I just purchased iGigBook and after the initial set-up it works like a charm. On gigs I use my iPad 2 with the Alesis IO Dock which is designed to be in landscape mode. It will be a bit hard to read charts sideways, so I am adding my request for landscape mode as well.

A great app but lack of a horizontal display on the iPad is a major weakness with many charts being hard to see, even on the newest HD iPad. Please consider adding this, Until then, I have to rely on UnReal Book app, which easily handles the horizontal display. It's main weakness is that it does not index the books as well as you folks do.

I'm also requesting landscape mode. Most cases, like my iPad snugfit case, only stand up in landscape mode.

Also, is it possible to allow page changes while zoomed in?
