Landscape mode - Implemented!

Please add landscape mode, and the ability to turn half page with blootooth pedal. That way you can see the notes clearly.

Great product, thank you! As an enthusiastic user, I too would find a landscape option a big help. I use primarily chord grilles, usually 8 measures by 4 rows, so the width to height ratio is about 2:1. Viewing these in landscape would come close to doubling the size. Personally, I don't have much need for splitting the page with two pages, just the ability to rotate the screen would be enough for me.

i like the app but i really miss the rotate/landscape option and the posibility to display 2 sheets on the same page

I would love to be able to turn to landscape view and see two pages. Not great for full piano staff but reading real books would be great to avoid having to turn pages. Come on IGig, it would seem like a quick fix.

Hey Phil,

Any updates on if we can expect a landscape mode sometime in the near future? I've got a few hard to read charts that could REALLY benefit from expanding it to landscape mode! Particularly some busy big band charts.

For me, the key thing is simply being able to operate with a rotated iPad, as with most other iPad aps. It's easy to picture other bells & whistles (two-page display, sidebar display of set list, sidebar display of song index/search, etc.) but really the key thing is just to be able to use the device at any physical position. If the time comes when you really contemplate such a change, ask again and I'm sure you'll get lots of specific feature ideas.

Pretty much agree with Spinality

It's more about screen real estate than anything else. Busy lick lines are hard to read in portrait mode. When put in landscape the extra 236 pixels open up a LOT of space for those dense notes!

Landscape mode is approximately 1024 X 768 while portrait mode is about 768 X 1024.

The only feature I could see as critical is to allow page turning devices to advance down the page and back up the page AS WELL as turn to the next page. This is because landscape seems to chop off about 45% off sheets. It would probably have to have advanced tap functionality so users can control whether to jump half a page or to the next song. Obviously this is most useful for busy long songs that don't repeat much.

Also, most iPad cases, keyboard attachment devices and docks stand up in landscape mode, but NOT in portrait mode.

Here too waiting for landscape mode with 2pages in 1 page to view 2 pages at the same time (smaller but useful too), just for iPad version
