Landscape mode - Implemented!

Ah...didn't see this thread when I posted about landscape mode...
So I'll add my voice to this group and plead for landscape mode. I am unable to even use the app now that I have incorporated the iPads midi capabilities into my gigs. The iPad can only be placed on a stand in landscape mode when midi gear is hooked into the lightning port and the audio is comin out the top.
It's frustrating that such a basic feature that literally every other app like this has is keeping me from using my favorite option. Is it a coding conflict? Or do you have a personal issue with landscape mode? Did it hurt your feelings and you're holding a grudge? Maybe it's time to move on and give the fans of your app what they want. There are so many great features in the app that go above and beyond the others...but the absence of one of the most basic iOS features is making the app unusable for some people and I'm probably not the only one who reluctantly recommends friends, family, students, and colleagues purchase a competitor's app for that sole reason. They always ask what apps to get when they enter the wonderful world of iOS musicianship. No matter how amazing this app becomes, not having landscape mode will be the constant caveat following all the praise...and I don't see any reason to allow that pesky "but..." dragging behind you like an anchor.
Is this just an anti-conformist stand you're taking. Or would succumbing to the rotation be an admission of defeat after insisting it wasn't that important for so long.
Or maybe this is all the fault of the Illuminati and our lizard-people overlords....

Just got my iPhone 6+ in a little experiment to see if I can get along with one device for everything rather than carrying a phone AND an iPad. I think iGigbook would be quite useable on this device in many situations if landscape mode were implemented. Phil, do us a favor and let us know why this is difficult. Seems like it should fall right out of the iOS UI. I'm afraid I have trouble buying the response that "there isn't much interest." Seems like there are quite a few calls for it in "feature requests."

What exactly is preventing iGigBook programmer development of landscape mode? It would certainly make iGigBook meet certain disability / accessibility needs already met by competing app developers. It would improve sales and customer satisfaction.

FYI: The Android version of iGigBook does support landscape mode with two pages side by side due to the availability of large tablets i.e. 12.2" or greater. When the larger iPad arrives, iGigBook for iPad will also support two pages side by side in landscape.

I do many gigs where I read music and I need to see more music not less music, which is why my current gig set up is the Android version of iGigBook and a Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2.

Thank you for such a very quick and specific response. I don't think increased screen size as you're describing is the issue for many of us. Perhaps another way to approach this is to be able to index the FBs in igigbook but be able to open them up in landscape in an associated pdf reader - so as not to take up the space required to load two identical sets of books.
