White Bar in Setlist View
Hi,
Recently I have noticed a white bar appearing at the bottom of the setlist view. Any PDF that I open in the setlist when it is in this state will also have a white bar at the bottom. If the PDF has music all the way to the bottom, some of it will be cut off.
The other views don't have this problem. Song search, Find composer, etc all look normal. Any tune opened in those views will also look normal.
To fix it, I force close the app but sometimes it appears pretty quickly after that.
I am attaching a screen shot of a gig set view as well as a PDF opened from that gig set.
iPadOS 16.4.1. I'm currently running iGigBook version 9, but seem to recall it in a previous version.
Thanks,
Franklin

Re: White Bar in Setlist View
We have had a couple of people report this, but we have yet to see it on any one of our devices here.
Update:
We have determined that this is happening on devices running iOS 16. If you view a song from the Gig Set View and then suspend the app, upon unsuspending the app you are bounced back to the Gig Set View and the bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. At the moment we don't have a fix for this but what we do know is that if you are in landscape orientation this does not happen.

Thick Grey Bar at the Bottom of Every Sheet when in a Set List?
Hi, recently I've been getting this irritating bug in .pdf sheets that I've loaded into a set.
It's a thick grey line right across the page and about 1cm deep, completely obscuring bass lines.
The problem doesn't arise in My Scores - only in Sets. Is there a cure?

Found a cure! I just closed and reopened the app and all was fine. Why it should happen, who knows?

This happens with iOS 16-17 when you view a song in the Gig Set View and then suspend the app. From our tests it only happens in iOS 16-17 and with the device in portrait orientation.PeterWeddingPianist wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 2:05 pm Hi, recently I've been getting this irritating bug in .pdf sheets that I've loaded into a set.

Sorry to disagree, Phil, but I get the grey line in landscape orientation as well as portrait. Can nothing be done about it? It's really irritating.
I'm on IOS 16.6 - the latest update. If it really is Apple's fault, do they know about it? I'm loathed to delete the app, and reinstall. Wouldn't I have to buy it again, with no guarantee it would get rid of the grey bar?
Surely there's a work-around that some techie could fix…..isn’t' there?

Sorry, we aren't seeing this in landscape orientation though we can consistently get it to happen in portrait. We've checked many things but don't have a solution for this.PeterWeddingPianist wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 5:06 pm Sorry to disagree, Phil, but I get the grey line in landscape orientation as well as portrait. Set List View is cutting off bottom of charts
Hello fellow I Gig Book users, I wonder if there’s a solution to this problem. When I am looking at the charts in the book list, they appear fine and complete but when I put that chart into a set and then look at it in the set list view the bottom of the chart is cut off. This is usually the last line of the song or the text of the song. Even when I tap to get into full page view, it doesn’t remove the band at the bottom of the chart that is covering the text and notes.
It’s a little frustrating because I want to use these in sets rather than try to find them in the books each time. Any solutions? Thanks for your help.

Re: Set List View is cutting off bottom of charts
Thank you, Phil. I did a search, but I guess I used the wrong search terms because I couldn’t find anything on this. I am using iOS 16.7, and I had the grey bar in landscape mode and portrait mode but I did close the app and re-opened it, and the bar disappeared. I never thought of doing that but it seems to have worked as someone in the discussion mentioned.
