Feature Request: No page turn transition (instant)

I would like my page turns to be instantaneous instead of scrolling to the next page.
I couldn't find a setting to change this back, as I believe it used to be, so I'm using this forum thread.
How can I get it so that tapping the bottom of the screen takes me immediately to the next page without the transition?

Scrolling only happens when you enable it in the Metronome, which means at some point you enabled it and now it became the new metronome default. How the metronome works is explained here:
viewtopic.php?t=1869
Metronome settings are saved whenever you exit a page and become the new default settings for the metronome. Beginning with version 10.2, you can turn off this behavior using the Settings App, by disabling "Save Settings On Page Exit" which is enabled by default.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Phil.
I have disabled the metronome in the iOS settings. Pressing the bottom of the page (or bluetooth page turn) still results in a 'scroll' to the next page instead of an instant page switch.
I have tried restarting the app. I can confirm that I don't see metronome at the top of my screen anymore.
What else do I need to do to get instant (no animation) page turns?
Thanks!

Disabling the metronome isn't going to turn off scrolling that you have enabled.

When you turned scrolling on in the metronome that setting sticks when you exit a page and becomes the new default settings for the metronome which means you will experience what you are experiencing. You have to do the opposite to turn scrolling off, meaning turn scrolling off and then exit a page so that the new default for the metronome is scrolling disabled.

I do really appreciate the reply, thanks.
I've done those things and still do not have instant page turns.
Perhaps we're talking about different things?
I've tried to be clear that I'm not talking about metronome-based scrolling, but the scrolling animation that happens when I turn the page:

I don't remember this, so I presume it's a recent addition. I can't find any setting for page turns to be instant, like a "cut" transition, instead of using a "scroll" transition.
Another new 'feature' that I don't want is scrolling horizontally between songs. These are the same to me: vertical scrolling between pages, horizontal scrolling between songs. Nice, but not helpful for me. I want both of these to be "cuts" with no transition - just change pages.
Can you please let me know how to make page turns, both within a song and between songs, cut to the next page?
Thank you so much!

You want page transitions without animation, sorry that's not currently available in the app.

As per discussion:
viewtopic.php?p=10204&sid=1e20e0e3a7dcc ... d10#p10204
I would like to be able to have very fast page turns with no transition, just "cut" to the next page.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have used igigbook for many years and just updated.
Now when I go to turn in a 3 page piece of music it scrolls vertically instead of horizontally. (which was the old way)
I tried turning off scrolling in the metronome (which I never use) and it still does it.?
Is there a setting to turn pages horizontal or is that now disabled?
Thanks,Julian C

Page turns in this app never went to the right or left. In the previous
version this is what happened.
When moving page to page within the same book
1. Tap the bottom of the screen, the page would curl up from the bottom.
2. Tap the top of the screen, the page would curl down from the top.
When moving song to song
1. Swipe left, the next song just appears
2. Swipe right, the previous song just appears
What happens now.
1. Tap the bottom of the screen, if scrolling is on the next page scrolls up
from the bottom, if scrolling is off, the next page slides up from the
bottom
2. Tap the top of the screen, the page slides down from the top.
When moving song to song
1. Swipe left, the next songs slides in from the right.
2. Swipe right, the next song slides in from the left.
