i Gig Book

I recently updated my iPad (6th gen, iPadOS 17.7.3) to iGigBook version 10.8. After the upgrade, songs that previously appeared in the book “Free Jazz Chord Charts – Transpose” are no longer there. For example, before the upgrade (version 8.x) the song “Deck the Halls (Jazz)” was there. After the upgrade, “Free Jazz Chord Charts – Transpose” still appears in the Book List, but “Deck the Halls (Jazz)” and many other songs are not listed.

I’ve tried to figure this out, but am not making any progress. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have a user name and password, so I think I’m a registered user.

"Deck The Halls (Jazz)" was never a part of "Free Jazz Chord Charts - Transpose". It is a part of "Free Holiday Chord Charts - Transpose"

Phil, thanks for your reply. When I look at my Book List, I don’t see the book “"Free Holiday Chord Charts - Transpose". But, I’m pretty sure I saw the song “Deck the Halls (Jazz)” before the version update. So, could I try one of these approaches:

1. In Book List, I clicked on the wrench icon in the upper left, which brings up the “iGigBook Resources” menu. I clicked on “Jazz Chord Charts”, which took me to a realbook.us site that shows jazz chord charts for a long list of songs, including “Deck the Halls (Jazz).” From there I clicked on “Free Chord Charts” in the right side menu, and was taken to the Apple App Store site, where it shows I’ve “purchased” the “Transposable Jazz Chord Charts.” How would I add this purchase to my Book List?

2. It sounds like "Free Holiday Chord Charts - Transpose" is the book I want, so how would I download that book and add it to my Book List?

realbook.us is our chord chart site, it's not connected to the app and has a combination of the Jazz Chord Charts and the Holiday Chord Charts. If you want the Holiday Chord Charts in your Book List View, make sure "Free Holiday Chord Charts - Transpose" is active. In the Book List View select "Free Holiday Chord Charts - Transpose" and once you select a song, that book will be downloaded.

Success! Phil, thanks so much for your help. After making “Free Holiday Chord Charts-Transpose” (FHCC-T) active in the Content Manager, I did not see FHCC-T in the Book List. In Book List, I had to click the Sync icon in the upper left, log in with my Apple ID and make a $0.00 purchase. After that, I could select a song and FHCC-T appeared in Book List. Now I'm ready for 2025 Xmas gigs, and thanks again!
