IOS 17.7.7

I have recently updated my iPad 6th gen to IOS 17.7.7

iGigbook doesn't work anymore. I have reinstalled it several times, I have reset the iPad several times, i have redone everything several times, and I always have the same problems:

- In the app settings menu : the version is "?.??"
- Every setting I set in the setting menu has no effect. E.g.: display books as icons unchecked, but books are always displaied as icons..
- It all looks as the oldest possible version of the app; e.g.: in the Song Search screen there is not the option (Books)(Scores)(Marks)(All)
- Worst thing: when I finally manage to update my book list and add all my pdfs, it seems to work for a little while, but after a few minutes all books result as unactive, so I can't just do anything. I update it over and over, everytime it works for a while then all unactive again. Then I have to wait a day because "maximum number of updates for the day is reached" ...
-personal pdfs (unindexed scores) work fine

(btw, on my other iPad, old Air with IOS 12.5.7, everything works great with iGigbook ver 10.9)

I understand now that The search enhancements are part of the "Additional Features Pack" so the fact that I don't have it is just part of the same problem as not having the books as active.
So the problem is just one, yet a big one

Stop installing and uninstalling because that clearly isn't working to fix what your issue is.

Do you mean in the Content Manager at https://my.igigbook.com or the Book List View?

Is the second item in your Book List View titled: "Guest Mode Active"?

I think the 17.7.7 is the latest version that can run on my ipad (model name = iPad 6th gen).
Just as on my other (older) ipad the latest version is 12.5.7 (model name = iPad Air). Infact both say that software is updated (meaning as updated as it can be). As I said, on this older iPad, iGig works ok (version 10.9).

Ok, I stopped installing and uninstalling; I just wanted to clarify that I had tried that.

In the content manger on my.igigbook everything is fine, the checked stay checked and the unchecked stay unchecked. As is reflected on my other iPad, and on this problematic one as long as it stays online.

No, I'm not in Guest Mode. If I go on the "head" icon it says that I am logged in as "[my user name]", even when I go offline.

(I use my iPads just for score reading, I never go online. I did it the other day just because I acquired new pdfs and wanted to add them. Hence the sofware updating (it asked me to do so and I said why not))

If I click on a song from a book I get "Book Index Not Active - Use the content manager at my.igigbook.com to resolve" even thou that book is actually active on my.igigbook.com, and it was also active and working in the app not too long before (but then i put my ipad on Airplane mode and oops all books result inactive. If i switch the connection back on I can refresh the indexes and they all became active again and working, but that doesn't work for me).

The other strange thing is that in the app settings it shows " Version ?.??"

To be more specific, if I am in the song search page and I look for a song, it shows me all the results for all the books that contain that song, but on the right they say "Orphaned Song Entry"

"Orphaned Song Entry" and the message "Book Index Not Active - Use the content manager at my.igigbook.com to resolve" appear in the Gig Set View which means you're looking at items in a Set List. If you add items to a set list from an indexed book and then remove the indexed book it becomes an "Orphaned Song Entry". The same thing happens if you add an item from My Scores to a set list and then delete or rename the PDF that the item comes from.

Post a screen shot of your Book List View with no dimension exceeding 1024 pixels.

here you have my book list as requested.
there is also the song search with the "orphaned" message, and my files where you can see all my books appear now suddenly as unindexed (and i can't link them to the indexes as none is available)
