why is there the 50 title threshold?
I have around 30 titles in there.
definitely don't want to type them in manually.
any suggestions?

Yes, type them in or use bookmarks, a better use case for you: viewtopic.php?t=164

I assume you mean putting the bookmarks within igigbook and not bookmarks within the PDF itself?
I am looking for an option where I don't have to type in 30-40 titles.

There's no option where you don't type in 30-40 titles.

I found one (just if someone else will look for that in the future):

add empty pages to the PDF till you get to 50 pages, then add them as "Missing01", "Missing02" and so on.

just out of interest: what is the reason for this threshold of at least 50 songs? it is probably super easy to change (and I am surely not the only one requesting it, am I?)

If we see this activity in the database, you and anyone else who tries will have their access to bulk upload data blocked.

In your particular case, you bulk uploaded a file with only six actual songs the remaining 44 were "Missing_01" to "Missing_44". You no longer have the ability to bulk upload data. Looking at this behavior all we can surmise is that you are a "bad faith" actor.
