Favorite Mark in Song Search Results

Post by progster »

Hi.

Many jazz songs (and others) appear in more than one PDF.

Thus, when you search on a title (e.g. "Four"), you will often get quite a few results for a given song.

So, which one is THE one that you want to open? (assuming you've made that determination at some point in the past)

Being able to mark a favorite would answer the question and allow the user to quickly and accurately open the desired version.

Thanks for considering this.

I note that THE one may be the one that you've previously marked up.

Currently it seems there is no way to know which one that is.

Please advise if I'm missing something here ...

Thanks!

Now, after I've posted, I suddenly realize that the Setlist feature has this covered.

Just put the desired version in a Setlist!

I'm still learning ...

You can also use the search from the Book List View detail. Let's say you prefer charts from "Real Book 6th Edition", searching from the book returns results from that book or others if the song doesn't appear in that book.

The set list, Recently Viewed, has a list of the last 500 songs you have viewed along with the date that you viewed them.
