I have a new Android tablet. Can the whole app and all files be moved to the new machine?

Yes, just copy the files in the igigbook folder to a igigbook folder on the new tablet.

I've done this before several years ago, but I can't remember the process. Do I need to install iGigBook on the new tablet before transferring the files? Also, how are the two tablets hooked together?

You can transfer the files at any time. The tablets aren't hooked together, you just need some place to copy the contents of the iGigBook folder to, like a laptop or desktop computer and then copy that information to the igigbook folder on the new tablet.

Sorry, I'm missing something. Is the infrastructure for the program (the items in the black bar at the bottom of the screen) included amongst the files?

It's not clear what you are referring to.

I understand about copying the files to the new tablet, but what gets them organized into Book List, My Scores, Song Search, Find Composers, Gig Set Viewer, and Set List Manager?

Book List will reflect the indexes you have marked active if you are logged into the app.
My Scores will be a list of the PDF files that you have added to the igigbook folder
Song Search will reflect the indexes you have marked active.
Find Composers will reflect the indexes you have marked active.
Gig Set Viewer will reflect the set lists that you have in the igigbook folder.
Set List Manager will reflect the set lists you have in the igigbook folder.

I would very much like to request an easier fix to this problem. Many of us use multiple tablets for our music shows and we need to be able to have compatibility between devices and the ability to see the most recent versions of our files, songs, setlists, etc. the fix you suggest is way too complicated. Hope you will update and fix this issue!
