I am now using this brilliant new feature to keep my setlists up to date on a second iPad (mini). It’s mostly working great for me but I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly: the main issue is that it wants to copy over whole books even though they are already indexed on both iPads. So, it copies over several files very quickly but then slows down and eventually I think times out or something. I think this relates to copying the list file and any unindexed files easily but then wanting the whole books rather than just the page references (does not seem to happen with ibob transpose book items). Issue still occurs if I repeat the process and whether “replace” is on or off. I do not enable “backup”. Also, annotations do not get across.
Source is iPad Pro 2023. Destination is iPad mini 7. Both on latest igigbook version and iOS.
Previously using Files copy procedure. Igigbook in continuous use for many many years, with most Books indexed in early versions (could this be a cause of problems?)
My setlists are usually a combination of myscore pdfs/photos and items from indexed books.
Thanks
Peter

Re: Device to device transfer
This feature does currently have its limitations which you have highlighted. No copying of annotations and when a file already exists on the destination it still requires transfer of the file to the destination which then determines whether or not to replace the file with or without a backup.
