cant figure out how to see second page of scores

Android v5.7 "one book mode" is off but it acts like it is on.
Does not matter if I find the score via a playlist or song search.
I only ever see the first page, when I try and swipe it does to another chart. urgh

Select the first item in the Book List View and then select "01. How to navigate while viewing a PDF page"
