Feature Request
Phil, sometimes I'll find myself searching for and then going to a particular song, but once I'm there, i just want to scan the next few pages of the current book just to see what else might be a better fit for a situation. It would be really useful if there were a way to access the next/previous pages even though they're not the song I searched for. I know i can go back to the book view and do this, but I'm already where i want to search/scan from.
Maybe a double-tap or 2-finger tap on the upper or lower half?

Re: Feature Request
We already allow you to do this:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4
A Tap on the lower or upper portion of the chart moves you to the next page or previous page of the book that the current song is located in. A swipe to the left or right while in the search take you to the next or previous search result.

Re: Feature Request
I must have been doing something wrong, all I could get was to go to the next song in the search list. tap up/down did nothing. I dunno, maybe I wasn't tapping hard enough, I can do that on the gig with the unit sitting on a stand...

Re: Feature Request
Any chance of a landscape rotate? Some fakebook charts are only a few lines high, and would be easier to read landscape.

Re: Feature Request
Currently there isn't a lot of demand for this and the one other person that requested this wanted to display two pages side by side in landscape something that we currently do when you connect the iPad to an external monitor.

I can see why, if you're using the 'legit' books, they're mostly piano sheet music, the old books use the real single-line condensed style that let you put three standards on a page, but they're probably all illegal books...

Re: Feature Request
It would be great if there were a way to insert markers (kind of like a bookmark) where
you can mark pages for tunes that have codas, signs, and repeat markers so that you can immediately
jump to those pages from another page. This would be very useful for multipage tunes where you might have to
go back 3 or more pages to get to where you have to in a hurry. I still haven't figured out how to use your
bookmark feature yet. Can you do what I've described using the present bookmarks?
Thanks.

Re: Feature Request
Bookmarks are ways of accessing a portion of a score or book that isn't indexed. The feature is only available when you access a PDF and display it from the ** My Scores section.RJPEPE wrote:It would be great if there were a way to insert markers (kind of like a bookmark) where

What you are describing is a jump feature and is something that we are trying to implement for the next version. I had a need for such a feature for a theater show that I did this past summer. On the last tune we would need to jump back about 3 pages and play a section as the play off music.

Re: Feature Request
Yeah, Phil.
If you can ever implement the jump feature, it would be a giant leap for your product!
For the small charts, the tool is just fine. For large multipage big-band charts, etc.
where it's typical to have to go from the last page back to page 1 or back to the sign
and then off to a coda, you'll score a lot of points (and customers) if you have this capability.
Thanks.
