New iPad
Pardon me, if I'm missing something obvious. I've looked around for the answer, but haven't found it yet. I've gotten a new iPad and want to find if there is an easy way to restore the completed indexes from my current iPad to the new one without manually doing everything over again.

Re: New iPad
I believe that I already registered it. Can this be undone? BTW...I'm planning on keeping the older iPad too, at least for now. Will I run into problems syncing both?

Re: New iPad
I followed the instructions exactly. I do seem to have the same Book List as the other device, but there is no content in the book list nor in my scores. None of my set lists are present either.
What should I try next?

Re: New iPad
Also, I looked in iTunes and the documents have all been removed in the sharing section for iGigbook.

Re: New iPad
Now all you need to do is copy the content that's on the first iPad to the second iPad, if you don't copy it to the iGigBook Documents folder, it won't appear in the iGigBook Documents folder. Lastly, when you're copying do not copy the file appstate.plist.darchtop wrote:I followed the instructions exactly. Re: New iPad
Other than trying to remember exactly which books and sheets of music I copied, and doing it all again manually, what is an easier way to get an exact copy?
Thanks for all the help...I'm getting there!

This method will work:darchtop wrote:Other than trying to remember exactly which books and sheets of music I copied, and doing it all again manually, what is an easier way to get an exact copy?

Copy the contents of the iGigBook Documents folder of the old iPad to a folder on your computer.
Delete the appstate.plist file that appears in the folder that you just copied to.
Copy the contents of the folder on your computer to the iGigBook Documents folder of the new iPad.
