I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't own this pedal and do not use it when I perform so I can only provide general guidance. Perhaps the manufacture of the pedal has more ideas?

I've done some more testing and unfortunately it's worse than I thought - on top of all the above steps, you additionally have to change tabs and back again to get the pedal to work again after turning Bluetooth off and on again.

This one problem means I am reluctantly going to have to use forScore for live gigs as going through 10 steps between each song is obviously impractical.

It would be great to be able to use any wireless page turning device with iGigBook like you can with forScore.

I'm pretty sure PageFlip would send you a pedal to help you develop support for it in iGigBook if you asked them nicely - it's only going to help them in the long run if your users can purchase the pedal and it is supported properly by iGigBook. You might even make loads of money from referral sales if you advertise the pedal alongside your app!

Hi Phil,

I see from viewtopic.php?f=24&t=127 that this is an issue for other people as well.

Would be great to see you update your app code to work properly with the PageFlip in all views and eliminate the on-screen keyboard disappearing issue.

The email from PageFlip in the above thread seems pretty positive - have you been in touch with them? From what they say it seems like many other App developers have managed to do this without any issues.

The thread you posted deals primarily with having the ability to turn pages backwards and forwards which you can currently do with a bluetooth keyboard or device emulating one.

As for the virtual keyboard, the manufacturer should follow the lead of manufacturers like Air Turn, who have designed a solution into the pedal.
